Dog walking in Graduate Hospital

We walk one-on-one on weekdays in Graduate Hospital, with a primary walker who gets to know your dog, your home, and your routine.

  • Employee walkers, not contractors
  • Lockboxes, door codes, and front desks
  • Photos and the GPS route after every walk

A few of our regular routes

Each walk is planned around your dog, and your visit report includes a GPS map of where you went.

South Street Bridge stairs

The river trail

From the western blocks, the stairs at the South Street Bridge put us on the Schuylkill River Trail, north along the boardwalk or south toward Christian Street. Dogs keep to the right, on a short leash, for bikes and runners.

Good for: 60-minute walks and high-energy dogs

Montrose, Kater & Catharine

The side streets

The smaller residential blocks are where most walks happen. With all the building going on, walkers watch for closed sidewalks, dumpsters, and nails or debris, and check paws when they get back.

Good for: 20- and 30-minute walks

South Street, west of Broad

South Street and the busier blocks

Sidewalk tables, takeout, and trash night all mean things on the ground. Dogs stay on a short leash and walkers steer them past it, or switch to a quieter block.

Good for: Dogs who take busy sidewalks in stride

Rowhomes, old and new

Most homes here have no front desk, so we set up keys and access around your home at the meet & greet.

Rowhomes

Most of our rowhome clients use a smart lock or a lockbox. If we keep a key, it’s stored safely and never with anything that shows your address.

Steep stairs, a gate at the top of them, where the towels are for muddy paws: those go in your dog’s care notes, so any walker who comes has them.

Newer homes and apartment buildings

Many newer homes have a keypad or smart lock, so access is often just a code you set up for us. In a walk-up, we’ll set up a lockbox, a door code, or buzzer access with you. If your building has a front desk, we can pick up your keys there and return them after the walk, following the building’s rules for signing in and using the elevator.

We don’t take dogs into public dog parks. If your building has its own dog area, we can use it if you want.

Who walks your dog

Once your weekly schedule is set, we pair you with a primary walker who does most of your walks and learns your dog’s habits.

When your walker is off, out sick, or unavailable, our scheduling team sends another trained walker with your dog’s care notes and access details, and you still get the report, notes, and photos. If your walker leaves us, we’ll match you with a new primary walker.

The more regular your schedule, the more consistent your walker will be. Every walker is our own employee: background-checked, trained by us, and insured.

Will my pup have the same walker each day?
